Interactive Lion is proud to announce the launch of Divinity Atlas, a free online encyclopedia of world religions, mythologies and esoteric traditions. Launched on August 17, 2026, Divinity Atlas is the first atlas in the Interactive Atlas family, a curated set of independent encyclopedias each dedicated to a single subject area. Its subject is sacred correspondences: the symbols, deities and systems that traditions hold in common, and the points where they diverge.
The atlas opened with 16,156 entries across 237 kinds, supported by 159,467 documented facts and 138,802 citations drawn from 6,860 graded sources. Every established claim carries a named, graded source, contested claims are labeled as contested, and where traditions disagree an entry is marked “Held Differently” rather than treating any one tradition as the baseline. Readers can formally challenge a statement by supplying verifiable sources, and accepted challenges become public cases with published decisions and preserved dissenting opinions.
Divinity Atlas is free to read and requires no account. Read the launch press release or explore the atlas at divinityatlas.com.
